I’ve long been involved in “alternative pops” derived, at least in part, from the New York Ice models. There used to be a store in Greenwich Village that sold exotic ices – not ice cream, but fruit and blended ices. I think the owner died and the store’s no longer there, but he had flavors (which I’ve reproduced – it’s not rocket science) like “pink grapefruit campari” and “peach amaretto” that were particularly good for adults at the height of summer. How exotic are/will be yours?
